TERABEE SAS gets an award during the Alpine High-Tech Venture Forum in Lausanne.

The fourth edition of the Alpine High-Tech Venture Forum was held on Wednesday 24 and Thursday, June 25, 2015, in Lausanne (Switzerland) at the EPFL.

As every year, the concept is to enable innovative startups’ creators to meet other companies and potential investors. Nearly 60 companies were present, ready to develop partnerships and attract investors.

For the second consecutive year, TERABEE SAS, an enterprise of Pays de Gex, receives the best presentation award evaluated by a panel of international expert reviewers.

Founded in 2012 and located on the Technoparc of Saint-Genis Pouilly,  this young innovative company started its activity in the development of inspection and areal imaging services by drone. Following the identification of a new demand on the market, TERABEE decided to expand its business by developing distance sensors to allow robotic inspection in a closed environment. Through a partnership with CERN, the enterprise uses a technology  based on a measurement of “theft time” of a ray of infrared light, which allows it to create a sensor, lightweight, ergonomic, less expensive, without danger for eyes and which avoids barriers.

A high-potential innovative enterprise which intends to set up an international industrial partnership.
